Do you have a love of horses?
Looking for a way to get your "horse fix"?
Want to give a deserving horse some extra TLC?
Lend a loving hand and volunteer to care for a horse awaiting adoption and give him/her the special attention they deserve. Come groom, walk, give treats and love on our wonderful horses! It's also a great way to meet other passionate horse people!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, you must first attend a mandatory training session. We will meet at the Welcome Center. At this orientation we will go over the necessary paperwork, assess your horse skills/knowledge, introduce you to our horses, and match you up with a horse to care for.
Upcoming Volunteer Meeting: Sunday, April 18th @ 1pm
PLEASE NOTE: * A helmet is required when working with any of the horses (riding or bike helmet is fine). We ask is that you spend a minimum of one hour per week with the horse(s) you work with as they become bonded with their caretakers and we rely on volunteers to check in on the horses happiness and well-being.
**Demonstrated horse experience and/or enrollment in lessons is required**
